Highveld

Our Leaders

Marinus and Catherine Hayes have been happily married for 19 years, and have two beautiful children, Sebastian and Noah. They have been the Senior Leaders Couple at Highveld since 2020.

Before he became the Senior Leader Marinus worked at Every Nation Tshwane as the City Wide Youth Director with 20 years of youth ministry experience. Catherine is an attorney by trade and a partner in Literatim, which offers legal and fiduciary services focussing on trusts.

Marinus and Catherine are both passionate about coaching and developing people in marriages and parenting. They believe that God wants to establish His kingdom in South Africa and every nation through local churches through the Gospel and the power of the Holy Spirit.

About Us

Welcome to Every Nation Tshwane – Highveld, a church community in Centurion on the campus of New Bridge Academy.

We are part of a global family of Every Nation Churches which gathers in more than 82 countries around the world. As Every Nation Churches, we exist to honour God by establishing Christ-centred, Spirit-empowered, and Socially Responsible churches and campus ministries in every nation.

Highveld is a church with a multi-cultural, multi-generational community of people from many different backgrounds and ethnicities who have been united for one cause: to honour God.

We have a morning service with Kids ministry during the service.

Apart from our Sunday Worship services, we also gather in Connect Groups (small groups) on different days and times during the week. Our youth gather on Sunday afternoons at 4pm at The Boomhuis in Centurion. We have 60 adult and 4 youth Connect Groups.

As a Highveld congregation, we also believe in family and we are creating a place where people can come, be restored and healed, a place of belonging, a place that they can call home.

Our Elders

Elders act as Christ’s overseers, God’s household managers (Titus 1:7), has been given delegated authority to govern, preach, teach, feed and equip the local church for works of service. The lead elder is to lead and care for the appointed elders and to raise new elders. The eldership team as a whole is to lead and care for the core leaders and local church through biblical governance. The leadership of the elders is to be exercised in a way that models Christ-like, humble, servant hearted and loving leadership.
