Our Senior Leader

Danie and Susan Du Toit have been happily married for 22 years, and have three beautiful children, Himne, Moné & Omphilwe. They have been the Senior Leaders Couple at Lynnwood since March 2020.

Before he became the Senior Leader Danie worked at the University of Pretoria for 19 years as Head of the Sport and Exercise Medicine and Lifestyle Research Institute. He is also part of the Every Nation Tshwane Leadership team where he oversees the City Wide Campus, Youth, Kids and Social Responsibility ministries.

Susan oversees our Woman’s Discipleship and Social Responsibility ministries and coordinates all our events at Lynnwood. She is also the owner of her own professional photography business which she started 18 years ago.

Danie and Susan are both passionate about coaching and developing people in business, marriages and parenting.

About Us

Welcome to Every Nation Tshwane – Lynnwood, a church community in the heart of Lynnwood.

We are part of a global family of Every Nation Churches which gathers in more than 82 countries around the world. As Every Nation Churches we exist to honour God by establishing Christ-centred, Spirit-empowered and Socially Responsible churches and campus ministries in every nation.

In 2007 Phillip and Renè Pretorius and seven team members were send by Every Nation Stellenbosch to plant the first Every Nation Church in Tshwane. This was the birth of the Lynnwood congregation. Since 2007 Lynnwood has planted a further four Every Nation congregations in Tshwane namely Every Nation Highveld, Rietondale, Willows and Elarduspark.

Lynnwood is a well-established church with a multi-cultural, multi-generational community of people from many different backgrounds and ethnicities who have been united for one cause: to honour God.

We have one morning service with Kids & Youth ministry during the services, as well as a vibrant evening service where we reach and disciple teenagers, students and young working adults.

Apart from our Sunday Worship services we also gather in Connect Groups (small groups) on different days and times during the week. We currently have a 135 adult and 8 youth Connect Groups.

Our Eldership Team

Elders act as Christ’s overseers, God’s household managers (Titus 1:7), has been given delegated authority to govern, preach, teach, feed and equip the local church for works of service. The lead elder is to lead and care for the appointed elders and to raise new elders. The eldership team as a whole is to lead and care for the core leaders and local church through biblical governance. The leadership of the elders is to be exercised in a way that models Christ-like, humble, servant hearted and loving leadership.
